About Us

Dr. Jessica Britten-Fazzio, D.D.S.

Born and raised in the Chicago area, an after-school job at 15 as an assistant to her orthodontist led her to a career in dentistry. She received her undergraduate degree from Arizona State University and her Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2006.

She has been serving the people of Palatine and the surrounding suburbs since 2006, and has been the proud owner of Palatine Dental Associates since 2008 following the retirement of her mentor, Dr. Alan Krakora.

She regularly attends continuing education seminars, learning the latest treatments and methods, including same-day cerec crowns. She also thoroughly enjoys cosmetic “smile makeovers” with invisalign and veneers. Dr. Britten-Fazzio spends her free time enjoying her two young children and cheering for her husbands football team. Dr. Jessica Britten-Fazzio is a member of the American Dental Association, the Illinois State Dental Society and the Chicago Dental Society.

Dr. Amir Danesh, D.D.S.

Dr. Amir Danesh got his DDS on 2008 and received his postdoctoral specialty training in Periodontology and Implant Dentistry at New York University. Dr. Danesh career goal is putting the patient`s interest first and minimize any inconvenience and stress to patients by making the process noninvasive and more efficient. He is a big believer of evidence based dentistry and uses current techniques and industry breakthroughs supported by scientific evidence, for providing the highest quality of care to his patients.

Dr. Danesh was selected as a winner of first prize in a Clinical Showcase Scholarship from New York University. He was also selected as the recipient of Award for Academic excellence for his scholarly activities. He believes that research plays a vital role in the enhancement of patient care. He has contributed to publication of 2 books and published more than 20 papers in prestigious journals including Journal of American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, British Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery, International Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery, Implant Dentistry, Clinical Implant Dentistry and related research, Journal craniofacial surgery, Journal of American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and Journal of Periodontal Research.

He is a reviewer as well as editorial member of many professional scientific journals and has several oral and poster presentations at national and international meetings such as American Academy of Periodontology. His specialty clinical training and academic research focus on various advanced and complicated implant and oral surgeries including bone regeneration and grafting, sinus lift procedure, ridge augmentation, atraumatic surgical extractions and site preservation, soft tissue augmentation and treatment of gum and peri-implant diseases. In addition, he has been trained in Nitrous Oxide and Intravenous Sedation that help patients to be comfortable and calm when undergoing dental procedures. IV sedation or “twilight sleep” will enable you to tolerate as well as not remember procedures that may be very uncomfortable for patients.

Dr. Danesh is a member of numerous professional organizations including the American Academy of Periodontology, American Dental Association, Chicago Dental Society, a member of both the American and International Association for Dental Research, The International Association for Orthodontics, and American Orthodontics Society. Dr. Danesh is passionate about the specialty of periodontology and implant dentistry and makes a serious commitment to continuing education by attending the professional meetings to stay updated in the field. He is bilingual in both English and Farsi.

Dr. Paulina Labuz, D.D.S.

Dr. Paulina Labuz was born in Poland and immigrated to Chicago with her family in 1997. Dr. Labuz is a graduate of Loyola University of Chicago (B.A.), the Illinois Institute of Technology (M.S.) , and University of Southern California where she received her Doctorate in Dental Surgery. Prior to joining Palatine Dental Associates as a Dentist, Dr. Labuz worked as a Dental Assistant to Dr. Britten-Fazzio for more than 3 years.

Dr. Labuz has a practice philosophy that focuses on ensuring her patients experience quality care, compassion, and comfort. She is committed to building a long-term, trusting relationship with her patients. It is her belief that dentists must educate their patients so they can make an informed decision about their oral health. She takes pride in her restorative and cosmetic dentistry and is dedicated to ensuring her patients leave her chair with a healthy smile that they truly love. Dr. Labuz looks forward to providing the best dental care possible to her patients, neighbors and community.

Dr. Labuz is a member of the American Dental Association, Chicago Dental Society, Illinois Dental Society, Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity, and California Dental Association.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Labuz enjoys live music events, traveling, and spending time with friends, family, and her golden retriever Cloud.

Dr. Elliot Levy, D.D.S.

Dr. Elliott Levy grew up in Arlington Heights, IL before moving to California to attend college and dental school at University of the Pacific in San Francisco. He was one if only 4 students to complete their accelerated dental program in 5 years graduating in 2010. After finishing dental school, he returned home to suburban Chicago.

Dr. Levy spent 5 years working as a dentist with the US Navy at the Great Lakes Naval Base in addition to his time in private practice. Dr. Levy enjoys spending time with his wife, young daughter, and pug.
